I really like this piece, because of the contrast the two images create. It seems to portray that usual human instinct of assuming the worst(expressed in the first picture- blood everywhere), when really the reality of the problem is a rathermore smaller thing(as expressed in the second picture with the very small amount of blood). I am not saying that nosebleeds are a small thing, just trying to explain my perception of these images. 'pologies if I offend anyone at all.

To live in this world
you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it
against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.
